    OPPORTUNITY Fadata, a global leader in insurance business management software, delivers software solutions that allow customers to manage their insurance companies' end-to-end business processes. We seek a highly skilled Senior Oracle Database Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Oracle database and Oracle WebLogic, ensuring optimal performance, data integrity, and security. Apply now to seize this opportunity to showcase your expertise and contribute to our organization's success. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, develop, implement, and maintain our core Oracle Databases. Maintain and optimize our SQL / PL/SQL processes. Ensure DB availability. Proactively manage and maintain security standards and controls. Actively seek to optimize and simplify Oracle Database architecture. Proactive monitoring. Execution of data migration jobs and scripts as required. Oracle Database Capacity Management. Support and collaborate with product developers. Create a reliable backup strategy. Ensure database backups are appropriately executed, and periodic restorations are exercised to ensure backup quality. Determine and document DB policies, procedures, and standards. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE: Ideally, Oracle Certified DB Professional (OCP) with over five (5) years' experience. Experience with DB design (modeling and normalization), capacity planning, performance tuning, storage management, backup and recovery, managing schemas, report generation and DB clustering technologies. Experience with Oracle management tools (Data Guard, RMAN, Data pump) and knowledge in partitioning. Hands-on experience with DB standards and end-user applications-translating capacity requirements into infrastructure deployment technology. Strong practical experience of ORACLE in a production RAC (ASM) environment (19c). Experience with an organization with a key reliance on 24x7 reliability on its database. Mentor fellow fadatians in how to write secure code and how to prevent security threats. Assist them by running code reviews and evaluating results of security checking tools. Identify opportunities of code and architectural optimizations which can enhance the overall security of the platform. Lead the design and adoption of secure coding practices according with the most robust security standards. Remain at the forefront of secure coding practices and standards evolution, guiding software architects, development, and professional services teams in adopting security-oriented thinking to the entire SDLC. Collaborate with other architects in the outlining of secure architecture and in the evolution of our technology stack. Assist Sales teams on answering questions on request for proposal (RFP) on questions related to secure software development. Ensure INSIS platform compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, DORA) and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST-CSF). WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE Core skills: Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar experience for Code Remediation and Application Security or a related field. Demonstrated experience in information security, with a strong background in software development, architecture and design. Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and regulations. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent understanding of the SDLC.
